Canonically erected on Octorber 31, 2005, the parish comprises the subdivision in Barangay Gulang-Gulang (Capistrano, St. Peter I, St. Peter II, St. Micheal, San Isidro, De Mesa, Ridgewood, Andaman Village, Reymar, St. Peter II North), the MSK units in Barangay Gulang-Gulang (San Lorenzo, Perpetual Help, Sariling Atin II, Maganda I, II, III and IV, Tagumpay, Masigasig I and II, “Boracay”), the subdivisions in Barangay Domoit (Goold Luck Hills, St. Joseph’s Village, Villa Aurea, Calmar 1,2 and 3, Happy Family), the subdivisions in Barangay Bocohan (Welmanville Phase II, Welmanvile Executive Phase II and other areas of Barangay Bocohan). Msgr. Mariano Melicia, chancellor, read the decree of canonical erection of the 33rd parish of the diocese. Bishop Emilio Marquez installed Fr. Alberto aller as its first curate and blessed the new convent. Atty. Jose Laureles and his wife unveiled the marker of the parish church in Capistrano Subdivision. Way back in the early 1980’s, Bishop Profugo had thought of creating this parish in Gulang-Gulang. He assigned Fr. Armando Manaog, assistant parish priest at the St. Ferdinand Cathedral, to prepare the prospective parish by organizing the parochial organization, they eyed the lot of the Abeja Family as possible site for the church.
